We saw the need for each team involved in the building life-cycle to communicate more effectively via project information review, standardization and simplified search. This led to the development of our proprietary BuildFlow software which is constantly evolving based on customer feedback and industry needs.

Steven J. Harford - President

With over 35 years of experience in the building industry, more than half of them spent practicing construction management for large firms in Boston and New York City, Steve has developed a unique skill set tailored for BuildFlow. Teaming up with his brother Scott in 2000, as co-founder, Steve continues to lead BuildFlow as it grows and expands into more diversified markets.

Steve holds a B.S. in Construction Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston.

Scott G. Harford - Vice President

Scott brings another 30 years of experience in the building industry with a solid background in engineering and sales.  Managing business development and operations enables his technical vision and practical expertise to keep BuildFlow at the forefront of an ever-evolving industry. Before founding BuildFlow, Scott spent 8 years as a Sales Engineer with The Trane Company in designing and implementing commercial HVAC and Building Automation Systems.

Scott holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Computer Programming from North Carolina State University in Raleigh.
